I had a new printer installed that is much smaller than my old animal and I love it. It has freed up so much space on my desk and in the office closet, as all the boxes oof ink are gone.
My Computer Guru was glad to take the large printer off my hands as it will run a huge network and was still in excellent condition. Just way too big for a home office and it needed a new drum which was close to $500.00 dollars. If I still owned a business, it would have been worth it, but not here in Lewiston. I really should have given it away back east, but the move was so overwhelming that I did not think.
This led me to start the giant clean out of Office supplies that I brought with me. I purged and purged and purged. It was wonderful.
I then went down the basement and purged another carload of stuff I will never use. Like large chafing dishes for entertaining. My house is not big enough to entertain like that any longer. I cleared out so much space.
I cleaned out the bathroom storage closet and it was a mess, so much better now.
Three trips to the Salvation Army all told.
I then swapped my winter and summer wardrobes as it has now gotten quite chilly here for this woman.
I did a lot of cooking and freezing. Drum roll please; we did not eat out once this week!
Our menu went like this.
Monday, Sissy gave me leftover potato and leek soup and it was wonderful!
Tuesday Pizza - I made four crusts for me and froze three as well as four batches of pizza sauce and froze three.
Wednesday - stuffed peppers the last of them, will need to prep more, but freezer is getting full.
Thursday- Spaghetti - three more containers left in freezer and there were leftovers for Fridays lunch.
Friday - Chicken Fried steak and butternut squash.
Saturday - Eggroll in a bowl and froze a huge batch to make eggrolls next week, also made a big pot of rice for fried rice, and fried up three pounds of bacon. I also made three meals of sausage gravy for biscuits and gravy which we love. I was able to get Hubs low carb English muffins for $1.00 a real steal.
Today I am going out to a late lunch with a Girlfriend, and this will also be my dinner as Husb left this morning to go to Spokane to a train show with his nephew. He may then head north to Troy Montana to see his brother, so I do not expect him back until Wednesday.
I will not have to cook for at least two days! Yeah!
Early this morning a Girlfriend came over and helped me move 113 pavers from the back porch to the side of the house until we can figure out what we are going to do with them. I was so sick of looking at them and now I do not have to see them when I sit out back!
She also helped me move the large area run out of the garage and back on the porch. The porch is still a work in progress. I have plans within plans.
Sissy will pick me up after she gets back from church, and I will take her home as she has company this evening and I will have her car tomorrow morning. I am taking tomorrow off to work in the yard and doing a major dump run. I am cleaning house!
God is good!
